Zesty Tomato Ketchup Pasta (Using Not So Guilty Tomato Ketchup)

A quick, tangy, and flavourful pasta dish that’s perfect for a simple yet satisfying meal. The natural sweetness and rich flavour of Not So Guilty Tomato Ketchup make it the star ingredient in this easy recipe.

Ingredients:

            •           200g pasta (penne, fusilli, or spaghetti)

            •           ½ cup Not So Guilty Tomato Ketchup

            •           1 tbsp olive oil

            •           1 small onion, finely chopped

            •           2 garlic cloves, minced

            •           1 bell pepper, chopped (optional)

            •           ½ tsp red chili flakes (optional, for spice)

            •           ½ tsp dried oregano or Italian seasoning

            •           Salt and pepper to taste

            •           ½ cup grated cheese (optional)

            •           Fresh basil leaves (for garnish)

Instructions:

            1.         Boil the pasta in salted water according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.

            2.         Heat olive oil in a pan and sauté onions and garlic until soft and fragrant.

            3.         Add bell pepper (if using) and cook for 2-3 minutes.

            4.         Stir in Not So Guilty Tomato Ketchup, red chili flakes, oregano, salt, and pepper. Mix well.

            5.         Add the cooked pasta and toss to coat evenly in the sauce.

            6.         Top with grated cheese and let it melt slightly before serving.

            7.         Garnish with fresh basil leaves and serve warm.

Tip: For a creamier texture, add a splash of pasta water while mixing in the sauce.
